How to make sweet Rose cookies at home. I call it Rose cookies because the Mould I used
looks like a rose.Its very easy to make cookies at home, since all the ingredients used here are common for most homes.
I will give a short but easy to understand recipe to make this Rose cookies. If you find it difficult to follow, I have also uploaded a video, you can watch that too, to understand better.
Ingredients required to make Sweet Rose Cookies.
1: Flour (Maida) ----- 250 gms
2: Egg --------------- 2 nos.
3: Suger -------------- 60 to 65 gms.
4: Salt --------------- 1/4 th.teaspoon
5: Baking Soda ------ one and half teaspoon.
6: Water ------------- 400 ml
7: Oil (Refined oil) to fry.
Step 1: Take a Bowl of one litre capacity. Break the two eggs.Add the sugar and mix thoroughly with the Balloon whisk till the sugar melts.
Step 2: Stirring continuously, add the salt.
Step 3: Now Add the water, stirring continuously so the water and the egg mixes well and light froth is formed.
Step 4: Add the Flour (maida) to the mixture in small quantities stirring the mixture continuously till you get a smooth mixture. The thickness/consistency of the mixture should be such that when you lift the balloon whisk the mixture should dribble down slowly.
Your Mixture to make Rose Cookies is now Ready.
Step 5: Heat sufficient amount of oil (Refined oil) on a frying pan
Step 6: Keep the Rose cookies mould in the oil. It should be hot enough, so the cookies mixture sticks to it.
Step 7: Now dip the rose cookies mould on to the mixture, just enough to cover it on all sides, except the top. If you dip it completely, you wont be able to take it off from the frying cookies.
Step 8: Shake the balloon whisk gently so the frying cookies comes off. Dip the cookies mould in the mixture again to continue, till you finish the prepared mixture.
With 250 Gms. of flour (maida) you can make 45 to 50 nos. of Sweet Rose cookies.
